Fall Wedding at Vail's Donovan Pavilion

On a dappled sunlit day in October, Amy and Jordan became man and wife.
The backdrop of tinted gold aspen leaves and the babbling Gore creek
created the perfect setting. The newlyweds were married on the courtyard
of the Donovan Pavilion and celebrated thier reception inside the gorgeous
wood and glass building surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Surprise Steam Punk Wedding

Invitations to an engagement party at the Curtis was the ruse
to gather friends and family to the actual wedding. Surprise!

How romantic is it to have your groom herald your entrance
with the classic John Cusak boombox scene from Say Anything.
For Kelley and Ames, thier celebration had to be unique.
So they chose to tie the knot under the dancing aliens at the
Denver Center for Performing Arts.
The Bride wore a custom created burgundy dress and
was attended by her family. Each child expressed thier
individuality by choosing thier attire which included leather
boots, trenchcoats, goggles and bowler hats in the steam punk style.
The talented Dawn Ackerman of Hillside Consultants designed
the bouquets with the brides colors and added delicate chains
and steampunk elements to create a truly unique scheme.

To celebrate the two families now joined as one, Kelley
Kakes created a fun rollercoaster that included each
member sculpted individually and included the family dog.

Historic Barn Photo Shoot

What could be more Colorado than a Bridal shoot at a historic barn?
Against the weathered look of the barn, we wanted COLOR!
.
A bright red settee highlighted the bride for a modern bridal portrait.

The purple palette of the bridal bouquet gave the bride a romantic look.
A more traditional romantic wedding portrait by the oh so talented Keri Doolittle.
Can you say COLOR? Unconventional Pink menus add flair.
Bright chinese lanterns dress up a barn and say Party!
Did you check out the addition of votive lanterns to match?
A touch of orchids and nature bring the outdoor touch.

Hippie Chic

If you are an out of the box Bride...then these handmade Bride, Groom and Hippie cookie favors may just inspire you.

Made to order by KelleyKakes, these are almost too cute to eat. Send them home with your guests as a favor or use them as edible placecards.

Yes, I did say edible placecards, but only if your guests can refrain themselves before they are seated.

Could you even incorporate the entire bridal party? or the team roster of the Denver Broncos. I would!
